This has been a VERY long and slow labor of love for me.  As I am a divorced mom living on my own, money is usually pretty tight.  It has taken me about four years to get to the point where I can honestly say I am very happy with the way the front of my house turned out after the makeover.  Just a few more things will make this complete.  the last step will be purchasing a new front door and full glass storm door so my furry children can watch the happenings in the neighborhood!

All new topsoil is ready to go down so I can extend my flowerbed.  The roots of my old maple are not going to make this easy for me!

Not sure what to plant in this very shady area.  Will have to go to the nursery for some advice….decisions, decisions!

This is the front of my little colonial.  All I need now is a new front door!

I had this little bistro set sitting in my garage since i redid my deck two years ago.  I decided to pull it out and make good use of it.  Now all I need is to add some outdoor lighting and I can spend some time out here in the late evenings enjoying the summer!

My hydrangeas are doing very well since I moved them to the front of my house this past fall!

Since I don’t have a front porch, I have been enjoying sitting at my little table under the shade of my old maple tree!  No matter how hot it is, it is always cool there.  Especially nice in the evening with a glass of wine!
